Manatees are a kind and beautiful species that is slowly disappearing due to boating accidents and habitat loss. They are sadly now endangered. In the winter months, Manatees swim in the Florida waters. Florida locals needed to be informed of how they could be a part of saving the manatees’ habitat. 

 

For this project, students were assigned to create posters that educated the viewer and included a call to action. I chose a deep turquoise blue for the background to represent the Florida coastal waters that the manatees live in. Using water ripples, I formed the headers and paragraphs. I kept the poster visually simple so the uniquely shaper paragraphs would catch the viewer's eye.
